it seemed like a good idea

a quick....well, sorta quick way to make a few extra bucks. i had never done it before and figured why not?! i'll have a garage sale! actually, it's a yard sale because as my nephew so quickly pointed out to me, i don't have a garage. anyway, i cleaned out, priced stuff, and hung up signs all within just a couple of days. i went back and forth on whether or not i was even really going to do it and my thought was worst case scenario: nobody shows up.
and here i sit. in the worst case scenario. with nobody showing up. (luckily my internet works outside!) part of me wants to take my stuff back inside and hit the sofa. the other part of me says it's only been about 40 minutes, so maybe i should give it a little while. the thing is, i know i don't have anything good. it's all just crap. honestly, i've kind of gotten embarrassed when people walk through because i know it's crap! but it's my crap. and i could reallllllllly use some extra cash.

you see, my ipod died. (well, it plays and looks like it's working, but the sound doesn't come out.) and that presents a big problem for my working out. so i need a new ipod. i'm thinking shuffle, but may go with the nano since it's a little bit bigger.

and there's this SWEET SWEET coach purse that i want. it's sooooooo pretty. my office is in a mall where there just happens to be a coach store so i go and visit her at least once a week. i will bring her home with me one day.

(just had 2 old men come by. made $4.25 off of them!) then we have the fall season upon us which means it's time for new fall clothes. more specifically, i'm having a CAbi party next week and there is already several items i've chosen to fall in love with.

and lastly....okay not really the last thing, but the last one i'm going to mention.....it's football season!! it is with great sadness that i admit i didn't purchase season tickets this year. but for several reasons, it just wasn't feasible for me. so that means i will be walking around campus each week holding up a finger. (not THAT finger. well, until maybe the last game of the season! hee hee!) that, combined with cash money needed to beef up my orange/blue wardrobe, to drop in the bookstores, and to get tailgating essentials for each tailgate......

come on big spenders to my yard sale!!!

How is orange and blue last... It is most important to have money for football season and the great clothes needed for it..

No no no - you do not pay to replace that iPod. You call Apple and make them send you a replacement. Mine was doing the same thing and my new (free) iPod came here today... a week after Apple at the mall told me it would be $130.
